Hi, my name is Kenzie Grafton.
I have a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor. I have combined my lifelong passion for holistic wellness with my counselling proficiency to offer therapy rooted in supporting women.
The modern woman often carries a complex and demanding mental load, balancing multiple roles and responsibilities across her personal, professional, and family life. Whether as a professional, mother, partner, caregiver, community member, or advocate, women frequently find themselves managing the needs of others while striving to meet their own expectations. When these ongoing demands intersect with unresolved or ongoing personal trauma, they can contribute to anxiety, chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, burnout, and a diminished sense of wellbeing.
Through a compassionate and trauma-informed approach, I recognize how life experiences can affect the nervous system, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and daily functioning. By integrating evidence-based counselling practices with strategies that promote self-awareness, resilience, emotional regulation, and sustainable self-care, I help women cultivate greater balance, healing, and wellbeing in all areas of their lives.
The late psychoanalyst Karen Horney stated that human beings possess an innate tendency toward self-realization when obstacles are removed. This belief is the foundational principle of my practice. I hold that we, as women, are able to move toward our most fully realized selves when barriers to healing are identified, removed, and met with compassionate, appropriate support.
My approach is collaborative and individualized. I draw from a blend of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs, including EMDR Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My goal is to provide a supportive, empowering space where healing, growth, and self-connection can unfold.
