Hi, my name is Kenzie Grafton. I have a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor. I have combined my lifelong passion for holistic nutrition and wellness with my counselling proficiency to offer therapy rooted in supporting women’s wellness. In 2020, I completed my Certified Holistic Nutrition designation through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, further shaping my integrative and wellness-focused approach to care.
The modern woman faces a multitude of demands—balancing career responsibilities, relationships, motherhood, and personal expectations, often while navigating unresolved or ongoing personal trauma. When these experiences intersect, they can contribute to anxiety, chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, hormonal imbalance and burnout. My aim is to support women from a holistic perspective, recognizing the impact of trauma on the nervous system and overall well-being, and integrating the therapeutic foundations of counselling with attention to lifestyle factors, nutritional balance, and stress management to foster sustainable healing and resilience.
The late psychoanalyst Karen Horney stated that human beings possess an innate tendency toward self-realization when obstacles are removed. This belief is the foundational principle of my practice. I hold that we, as women, are able to move toward our most fully realized selves when barriers to healing are identified, removed, and met with compassionate, appropriate support.
My approach is collaborative and individualized. I draw from a blend of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs, including EMDR Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My goal is to provide a supportive, empowering space where healing, growth, and self-connection can unfold.
